A study was made of the morphological and functional state of blood cells in chronic experimental hepatitis induced by the interval administration of acetaminophen in Wistar rats using hematological, morphological, biochemical and statistical methods. A feature of the course of experimental chronic hepatitis is the development of multifactorial anemia with reticulocytosis, leukopenia against the background of activated forms of lymphocytes and platelets, which are morphological markers of chronic experimental inflammation and are the additional criteria for monitoring the course of disease treatment.
